COVID- 19 Precautions - Fall 2022 Update
Masks are optional for all clients.
Updated 12/5/2022
We are proceeding with lots of care and caution in the ongoing pandemic. The health and safety of our clients, ourselves, and our families are of utmost importance. Because of our clients’ diligence and communication, we have been able to stay open and continue serving our community. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and flexibility as we all navigate the best path forward safely.
At this time, we are observing the following best practices in our healthcare setting. If you cannot meet these requirements we offer virtual sessions.
- At in-person sessions, masks are optional for clients and massage therapists.
Massage therapy occurs with close contact. Any client who would prefer to wear a mask in their session is welcome to wear one.
Massage therapists are welcome to wear their mask and clients are welcome to ask their massage therapist to wear a mask!
Please follow CDC guidelines for masking including wearing a well-fitting mask for 10 days after exposure or, if you have tested positive after you end isolation.
- You agree not to present for in-person services or to allow us into your home if you have a fever, shortness of breath, coughing, or other symptoms associated with COVID-19 or any other illness or if you are concerned about an exposure you had during travel or at a large event and feel uncomfortable receiving massage.
Please follow all CDC guidelines for exposure, quarantine, and isolation when considering keeping or canceling your session. If you do not follow these guidelines your therapist may refuse services and cancel the session.
- Our waiting rooms are open. If you prefer to wait outside or in your car please text your massage therapist at the time of your session to let them know you are ready.
- We will have contactless payment options available.
- We will be using meticulous hand-washing before, during, and after each session as well as disinfecting the massage table, tools, and all contact surfaces with an EPA-approved product for emerging viral pathogens expected to be effective against COVID-19.
- The 48 hour cancellation policy is still in effect with the exception of illness and in particular, exposure to or illness from SARs-COV-2 (COVID-19). There is never a charge when you cancel even a few hours before your session if you are unwell. If you choose to come to your session while you are sick the therapist may refuse services and you will be responsible for the full cost of your session.
