Cancellation Policy: We understand that sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled. Cancellations or change of appointments must be made 48 hours before appointments. If the cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice you will be charged for 50% of the appointment. If you do not show up for your appointment you will be charged the full appointment price. Illness and birth are exceptions to this rule.

Online cancellations have two steps. Canceling and confirming the cancellation. Cancellations are not complete until you receive a cancellation confirmation email. Cancellation fees are not meant as a penalty. It recognizes the time we hold for you. When you cancel your appointment at the last minute we cannot offer that healing time for another client.

Pregnant clients: The exception to this rule is the arrival of a baby. If your baby arrives before your appointment please simply let me know- there will be no charge for canceling with less than 48 hours. Both therapist and client are responsible for cancellation due to illness or medical emergency and the appointment will be rescheduled at the next possible date.

Life happens.

Everyone gets one short notice (less than 48 hours to appointment) cancellation with no charge. 

Winter Weather: Your safety is our priority. If you feel unsafe traveling to your session please be in touch as early as possible to reschedule.

Payment: All payment is due at the time of your session. We accept FSA/HSA/and credit cards via contactless payment as well as cash and check. All checks can be made out to "Mountain Mama Massage". Please note you must pay at the time of service - the credit card booking confirmation was not a payment for your session.

Confidentiality:
 Every aspect of our session is confidential. All information both written and verbal that occurs will be considered strictly confidential with the exception of: court subpoenas, client consented communication with your physician or another health care provider, and the reporting of abuse against a minor (person under the age of 17). In each of these cases you will be notified before confidential information is shared. If I am reviewing your information with a colleague your personal information and identity will be kept confidential. The client is always welcome to see any notes or records regarding their case kept by the massage therapist. If you ask me to be in communication with another provider I will get your verbal consent before sharing session notes.
The client agrees that information submitted to Mountain Mama Massage LLC, may be shared with contractors of Mountain Mama Massage LLC for the purposes of providing services to Client. Mountain Mama Massage LLC and all contractors will keep Client information in strict confidence. 

Safe Space: We believe that all persons are created equal and welcome all gender-identities, all family formations, all sizes, all colors, all cultures, all beliefs, all religions, all ages, all people. If you feel that you have not been made to feel safe and welcome just as you are,  please let us know so that we can improve our practice.

Contact: We are available weekdays between 9 am and 7 pm by phone and email (when we are not with clients). After 7 pm please expect any response within the following 36 hours or on the next business day. We will occasionally send an email to you outside this time-frame; you are also welcome to not respond until the next business day. Find all contact info here.

Communication: Good communication is the essence of the client- massage therapist interaction. We will check in during the massage about comfort, pressure, temperature, etc. Only you can know exactly what you need and as such we encourage you to communicate any concerns or discomforts that occur during the session. 

Referrals: We offer referrals to other practitioners at your request and as we see the need arises. Remember that these are only suggestions which you may take or leave at your will. We offer practitioners who we believe are skilled, but a referral is not a guarantee of their services or that they will meet your needs. We will never be offended if you do not use the suggestion or do not find benefit from the practitioner.
